A small step-down converter from Pololu operating with an input voltage ranging from 15 V to 45 V. Thanks to the use of SMPS technology, this regulator is much more efficient than traditional linear regulators, especially when the difference between the input and output voltage is large. The D30V30F15 offers a constant output voltage of 15 V with an accuracy of 4% and a typical maximum continuous current capacity of 1.5 A to 3.2 A depending on operating conditions. This module includes a range of protection functions such as reverse voltage protection up to 40V, undervoltage lockout, overcurrent protection, short circuit protection and thermal shutdown. Additionally, the soft start function limits the starting current by gradually increasing the output voltage at startup.
