The Badger 2040 W module from PiMoroni is another edition of the Badger series boards, this time equipped with the popular raspberry - Raspberry Pi Pico W. In addition to the basic functionalities of Raspberry Pi Pico, this board offers the user 2.4 GHz wireless WiFi connectivity and has a built-in RTC that allows the implementation of real-time applications. Badger 2040 W is also equipped with a monochrome e-paper screen with a diagonal of 2.9" and a resolution of 296 x 128 px and as many as five user buttons .

They are characterized by the fact that they do not strain the eyes during use, making them ideal for reading long texts. This type of screens consume a small amount of energy, and when disconnected from the power supply, they continue to display the last loaded image. The screen used on the board has a diagonal of 2.9" and a resolution of 296 x 128 px, and the distance between the pixels is 0.227 x 0.226 mm. The screen displays the image in shades of black and white and has a wide viewing angle.
