Product description: Grove oxygen sensor UART GGC2330-O2 - calibrated, electrochemical - Seeedstudio 101020912
Module based on the high quality, electrochemicaloxygen sensorGGC2330. It uses three electrodes,an electrochemical gas sensorand a high quality microprocessor to measure. TheGrovemodule also has a built-intemperature sensor, which can correct measurement error caused by temperature differences and increase the accuracy of oxygen measurement. The unit has beenfactory calibrated. The sensor is also equipped with a powerful microprocessor that allows communication using digital and analog interfaces. It communicates with the microcontroller usingUARToranaloginterface.
The manufacturer has prepared auser guidealong with sample code forArduino.
What is oxygen sensor?
The Grove Oxygen Sensor is a module equipped with an electrochemical GGC2330 sensor, which in combination with a microcontroller is capable of measuring oxygen concentrations in the range of0% to 25%by volume with a resolution of 0.1%. It communicates via a serial UART or analog interface. Powered by5 V, it consumes up to 10 mA of current during operation. Thanks to the Grove connector used, it is possible to quickly and seamlessly connect the sensor to a master module equipped with the same interface.
- Avoid contact with organic solvents (including silica gel and other adhesives), paints, chemicals, oils and gases of high concentration.
- The module must not be subjected to shock or vibration.
- The module has a warm-up time of 5 minutes when first activated and more than 24 hours when not in use for a long period of time.
- Do not install the module in an environment with strong air convection.
- Do not place the module in a high concentration of organic gas for a long time.
