Product description: Gravity - LED Switch Blue - LED backlit button - blue - DFRobot DFR0789-B
A module equipped with a button manufactured by DFRobot. An additional advantage is the backlight, which is responsible for the built-in LED. When pressed, the button lights up in blue. Gravity - LED Switch Blue is characterized by high versatility - it can be used in conjunction with e.g. micro:bit from BBC or Arduino. Switch is monostable type, equipped with self-locking function. It means, that when the button is pressed, the module outputs high state and the LED lights up. When the button is pressed again, the module produces LOW signal and the LED goes off. Switches of this type can be part of the design of backlit keyboards or music panels.
LED Switch pinout description from DFRobot
- D - control pin, output signal port (low / high state)
- "+" - VCC, power supply pin from 3.3 V to 5 V
- "-" - GND, system ground pin
What is the Gravity connector?
Modules of Gravity series are equipped with PH2.0-3P connector, with which you can make extremely fast and convenient connection of elements. The Gravity system does not require soldering, that is why it is so valued by beginners. Its use is particularly useful in projects based on prototyping. Gravity connector has 3 lines: GND - circuit ground, VCC - power pin and D/S - signal line.
