How is coaxial cable built?
Coaxial cable is made of several layers, in the center of which there is an inner conductor, usually made of copper. Around the inner conductor there is adielectricmade of plastic insulating the inner conductor from the rest of the layers. Next layer is ascreenmade of aluminum or copper, its task is to eliminate electromagnetic interferences. The last layer is the outer jacket, which protects the cable against mechanical damage and damage resulting from changes in atmospheric conditions.
