Programming electronic digital machines can be done in a variety of languages and it is a good idea to start learning it at an early age. Interactive robots that react to events in the environment are one of the best solutions to encourage children to learn programming, but they are expensive. The BinaryBots project - interactive toys that enable interactive learning of programming for reasonable money - meets the expectations. BinaryBots designers believe that robots are the best way to introduce the world of programming and practically show how digital technology works. The project was founded in 2012 and is being developed with hundreds of children and with schools and is designed to interest and encourage children to learn programming through play.

A good start for the youngest learners of programming
There are at least a few good reasons to start learning programming from an early age. Programming in languages such as C, C++, Assembler, JavaScript, or PHP is popular around the world both among hobbyists and professionals. Children at an early age are the best and fastest to acquire knowledge and reveal their creativity and confidence, which can have a positive impact on their future career. A great solution for the beginning of learning programming, will be offered by our store, toy Meet DIMM - an interactive robot for self-assembly, which will certainly appeal to children, teaching them programming through fun. The kit with the robot includes an instruction manual, stickers, light, motion and temperature sensors and a speaker, as well as a BBC micro:bit computer module. In order to connect the robot with peripheral circuits, the manufacturer included cables ending in crocodiles. The BBC micro:bit module included in the kit can interface with PCs and Macs via a USB cable, and allows the robot to communicate with a phone or tablet via Bluetooth.
Totem series - hardware and software replication of animal instincts
With the more advanced young learners in mind, the designers of BinaryBots have prepared the Totem Series kits, which allow you to build from 160 programmable animal imitations equipped with sensors that react to light and touch, sending a signal to the base board causing the animal to react in a realistic way. The kit includes the tools necessary to build an interactive robot imitating the appearance and behavior of a spider or crab, depending on the kit. The kit includes a power module, a dedicated BinaryBots Totem Sensor module, a vibration motor (in the Totem Spider kit it works with a thread emulating a spider web, and in the Totem Crab kit it drives the crab's pincers), and an instruction manual. The sensor module is equipped with buzzer LEDs and buttons. The BBC Micro:bit microcomputer module must be purchased separately.
