Versatile power supply and stable performance
The module does not require an external power supply when working with the CM4 PoE 4G or CM4IO expansion board , as it draws power directly from the PCIe interface. The adapter works without drivers, but the connected PCIe devices may require the installation of appropriate software . The module supports PCIe Gen 2 x1 expansion, with a maximum speed of 5 Gb / s - regardless of the number of expanded ports, the bandwidth will not exceed this value. The standard power source is 12 V, but in its absence the module can also be powered by 5 V. The maximum output current for each 3.3V PCIe power line should not exceed 1.5A .
