Description of Freedom FRDM-KL26Z Kinetis L - Cortex M0+
Tile from Freescale, equipped is with a microcontroller from Kinetis L family with low power consumption with 32-bit ARM core Cortex M0+. Simple usage is provided by a programming interface OpenSDA with connector miniUSB. Access to GPIO ports is possible thanks to the holes for goldpin connectors, pitch of 2.54 mm. The distance between the pins is compatible withArduino Rev3.
The module allows you to see the opportunities that microcontrollers from series Kinetis L ( Low Power) give. In combination with the Cortex M0+ plus core, the user has at his or her disposal 32-bit performance, with power consumption as low as in16 devices of 8 bits.
On board are also interesting accessories. In addition to the standard buttons and three-colored RGB LEDs, at the user's disposal are: mini-usb connector, 6-axis accelerometer with magnetometr FXOS8700CQ, a capacitive, touch slider and a light sensor.
The device is supported by the popular development platform: Keil, IAR, CodeWarrior, Red Suite and others (to download). It supports free RTOS, and distribution of connectors allows for installation of the Shields from the popular platform Arduino. Programming and debugging is allowed by the embedded system OpenSDA with connector miniUSB. This means that to start working with the module, you only need a mini USB cable.
