Description
Analog sensor, based on a QRE1113system. The module sends a beam of infrared light and then measures the amount of light reflected in a position to specify the color of the floor.
The module has 3-pin connector through which it can be connected to the PCB Board using wires. The unit has a screw hole. The sensor communicates with the analog method. The more IR light it detects, the lower the voltage appears on the output.
Models of this type find application, for example, in line-follower. The white surface reflects less light than black, so when the sensor on the white surface, the output voltage will be lower than in the case of black.
