Accel is an accelerometer module using theADXL345. The resolution of measurements made by the module is13 bits. The communication device uses anI2Cinterface and a cable withGroveconnectors included in the kit.
What is an accelerometer?
An accelerometer is a device that measures gravitationalacceleration. This is done by a function that determines the angle at which the device is inclined in relation to the Earth. It also analyzes the dynamic acceleration caused by the movement of the device, thus providing information about the direction in which it ismovinganditscurrent position.
The accelerometer is connected to the module via a Grove cable.
The module and the cable are placed in a plastic container for easy transport and storage.
