The design of the assembly frame of the mBot 1.1 robot from the MakeBlock series shows that its creators wanted to build the most child-friendly robotic platform possible. The smiling robot with eyes in the form of ultrasonic transducers is based on an Arduino-compatible controller and moves on two large, rubberized wheels. The mechanics are compatible with Lego, which gives unlimited possibilities for creative play and expansion of the robot with any elements. It is not only the rounded smile-shaped cutout milled in the front of the base of MakeBlock robots that gives them a nice appearance. mBot-S Bluetooth STEM educational robots complete with a blue 16x8-dot LED matrix can make faces - literally, because this small display allows you to generate inscriptions and emoticons, giving the structure an individual character.
