Description

The Grove module based on the SI1151. Multi-channel, digital light sensor to detect visible light and infrared light. It is working with voltage from 3 V to 5.5 V. It communicates using the I2C interface. The kit includes a cable adapted to Seeedstudio Base Shield v2.0.

Connection

The sensor communicates with the microcontroller through the I2C interface. Grove connector has the following pins:

Pin Description
GND The ground of the system.
VCC Supply voltage - 2.7 V to 5.5 V.
SDA Data line of I2C interface.
SCL Data line of I2C interface.
