Product description: Devil Design ASA 1.75 mm 0.8 kg - Black
ASA filament is a thermoplastic filament used for FFF 3D printing . It is designed for building functional prototypes and finished products that are expected to be weather-resistant and durable . The filament does not discolor when exposed to UV radiation.

Our range of filaments also includes other materials and colors.
Filament wound on a spool, vacuum-packed with a moisture absorber. The spool contains 0.8 kg of material net. It can be used in all FFF printers not protected against the use of material from a third-party supplier or open-source design. ASA is a material with increased resistance (compared to ABS) to external factors and is easily machined , such as grinding or drilling. ASA is an excellent substitute for typical ABS copolymer.
ASA filament properties
- There is a smell of melting plastic while printing
- More durable than PLA
- Easy to sand, you can drill holes in it without any problems
- It is cheap and comes in many color variants.
- Increased resistance to UV radiation
- Increased resistance to weather conditions
- Good chemical and thermal resistance
Due to differences in printer design, the above data should be treated as guidelines and the appropriate values should be determined experimentally.

Devil Design ASA filament 1.75 mm 0.8 kg - Black
ASA filaments are recommended for both beginners learning how to use 3D printers and experienced users. This thermoplastic material makes printing very simple. Furthermore, once the models have cooled, they can be easily removed from the print bed, minimizing the risk of damage.
The ASA filaments produced by Devil Design are quite versatile. They are often used for printing housings, various accessories, and prototyping. Furthermore, they can be used to create decorative elements, thanks to the material's properties, specifically its subtle sheen and high precision.
Devil Design ASA Filament - Additional Information
ASA filaments dissolve in acetone. Their center of gravity is 1.07 g/cm³, as measured by ASTM D792 test method. The softening point of the thermoplastic material is 96℃ (ASTM D1525 method).
The filaments are characterized by a maximum elongation at break of no more than 20%. Their tensile strength reaches 500 kg/cm² (ASTM D638 method). According to the manufacturer, their Rockwell R hardness is 107.
