BCN3D Epsilon W50 is a model designed mainly for industrial applications. It combines great precision of work and highest efficiency. The 3D printer will prove useful in prototyping and production of small batches of products using the most advanced materials. Independent IDEX extruders and closed working chamber with capacity of over 50 liters make Epsilon W50 applicable in many industrial segments.

Industrial speed printing

The Epsilon W50 uses an advanced IDEX system, based on the operation of two extruders. It allows each of the two print heads to move in the X axis completely independently of each other (they can work in duplicate and mirror mode ). This solution allows the Epsilon to be used in small batch production, printing machine parts, and prototyping.

IDEX is a solution based on the use of two independent extruders in the 3D printer, which allow simultaneous printing of two colors or different types of filaments. This allows for more efficient use of the entire workspace of the device. IDEX is also great for creating dissolvable supports. Nozzle cleaning carriages protect against dirt and color mixing.

Twice the productivity

Within the IDEX system, the Epsilon W50 offers two highly efficient modes: duplicate and mirror. They allow you to speed up printing(forming two models simultaneously) and use different colors and materials:

  • Duplication mode: involves forming two identical models using both print heads. The user gets here a doubling of productivity compared to traditional 3D printer models with a single extruder.
  • Mirror mode - printing two models simultaneously in mirror image. This reduces not only the forming time, but also the design time.

Interchangeable E3D hotends

The Epsilon W50 uses specially adapted E3D hotends. They are characterized by higher temperature stability which allows to obtain better quality printouts. Depending on the needs and specifics of a given model, there is a possibility to use hotend with nozzles of diameters: 0,4 mm; 0,6 mm; 0,8 mm; 1 mm.

Bondtech extruders

The BCN3D Epsilon W50 uses powerful Bondtech extruders. With a dual drive, they offer more efficient and stable filmanent feeding, regardless of the type of filmanent. Additionally, the Epsilon is equipped with a sensor that pauses the machine if it detects a lack of print material.

Closed chamber with HEPA filter

The Epsilon W50 has a closed work chamber with passive heating, which ensures a constant printing temperature. This solution avoids warping and peeling of the molded models. This is especially important in case of advanced felt (ABS, PETG, Nylon, PP, PP GF30, PAHT CF15, among others). HEPA and carbon filters with a system for monitoring their level of wear, protect the 3D printer environment from harmful particles and unpleasant odors.

Large printer workspace

The BCN3D Epsilon W50 offers a workspace of: 420 x 300 x 400 mm. The construction of the device allows to mount reels inside the chamber (it is possible to use even large size reels: 2 kg and 4 kg). Closed chamber has LED lighting, which allows to observe the work in any conditions. The glass working platform has fastenings that allow it to be removed from the printer in just a few seconds.

3D Printer Epsilon W50 is controlled by a color touch screen with a diagonal of 5''. Intuitive interface greatly facilitates the operation of the device.

End of filament sensor

Mechanical sensor informs the user about the lack of material for printing. Formed 3D print will be immediately stopped, and then restarted after refilling with filament. The sensor ensures continuous operation even when printing for hours.

Compatible Filaments

The BCN3D Epsilon W50 allows printing with the following filament types: PLA, ABS, PETG, TPU, Nylon, PVA, PP, PAHT CF15, PP, GF30. The original BCN3D filaments were developed by BASF and Mitsubishi Chemical. Due to the open material policy, it is also possible to use thermoplastics from other manufacturers.

BCN3D Stratos software

The kit includes BCN3D Stratos software, which acts as a dedicated slicer. It enables conversion of a file with a 3D model into a set of instructions readable for a 3D printer. The model preparation process in Stratos is characterized by high accuracy. It also allows efficient management of IDEX dual exdruder system, among others by shortening the working time by using hotends with different nozzle sizes during simultaneous printing.

The software also includes a set of ready-to-use print profiles for all manufacturer's materials supported by the printer. The software is licensed to run on any number of computers.
