Description: Key Competence Kit with Genibot and coding mat - for kindergarten
Key Competences with Genibot" set is designed for teachers and educators working with children aged 3 to 10 years. It allows to conduct activities aimed at developing key competencies in children at preschool and early school age. Together with Genibot robot, the set includes cards for its programming, coding mat, colorful cards and 525 double-sided disks, including disks designed specifically for developing key competences.
Genibot - a robot for learning to code offline and online
Universal robot Genibot is equipped with many functions (tracing lines, reading commands and following them). Designed to teach programming to the youngest. Opens the door for children to the world of modern technology and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, maths) education. Playing with the robot encourages experimenting and searching for creative solutions.
Genibot can speak in two languages - Polish and English, which makes it easier for younger children, but also gives additional opportunities to learn English. The coding cards and the instructions are also provided in Polish and English.

Cards and discs for coding the Genibot robot
An intuitive way of programming that does not require access to computer hardware, dedicated to children as young as 3 years old. The program created with the coding cards allows to set the robot in motion and make it perform a selected sequence of commands. Thanks to this, the child has an opportunity to learn basic programming constructions. He learns how to use loops, conditions or functions. The set also includes key competencediscs and maths.
Key Competency pucks include: professions, flags of European countries, foods, clothes, vehicles, furniture, numbers and figures, geometric figures, angle measures, mathematical operations signs, seasons of the year, names of months, names of days of the week, digital devices, primary colors and derived colors, instruments, graphics related to cinema and theater, national symbols, activities, colors, emotions, 12 pucks with AR (augmented reality) markers.
Math pucks include:
- Movement commands - directional arrows, turns, start, stop, and numbers placed on circles in 9 colors
- Math action signs - plus, minus, division, multiplication, equal, greater, lesser, and geometric figures placed on circles in 9 colors
Genibot Scratch 3.0 application
Working with the Genibot robot allows a smooth transition from offline coding to block programming in Scratch 3.0. This is a whole new opportunity and the next step in learning programming. Scratch is a language designed by Mitchel Resnick with which children and young people learn programming. Programming is done in a visual way, the blocks resemble a puzzle, which when put in the right order will create a program.
The book "Social Skill".
The lesson scenarios "Social Competence" were developed by Anna Swić based on her experience in working with children at preschool and early school age. Each of the scenarios consists of a description of activities containing elements of coding. The book includes offline activities using a coding mat "Coding on the carpet", colorful cups, disks, blocks and other easily accessible materials. The scenarios include additional materials and activity cards for children. In each scenario there is also a link to tasks prepared in a remote version using the genial.ly Internet platform. At the end of each scenario there is an additional activity during which educational robots are used.
The book "Preschool education with Genibot" part I
The book consists of a package of scenarios "Preschool education with Genibot", developed by Anna Świć based on her experience in working with the youngest children. The topics of the scenarios and suggested ways of carrying out the activities correspond to the core curriculum of pre-school education. They have been selected in such a way as to touch upon issues close to children and at the same time to shape key competencies. The book contains 90 pages of ready-made ideas for classes.
Certified online course - Social Skill Course with Genibot and coding mat
Social Skills with Genibot and Coding Mat is a certified 6-hour online course that shows how to shape social skills in preschool and early elementary school children by using a coding mat "Coding on the carpet" and Genibot educational robots. The course is conducted by experienced trainers who have conducted several thousand workshops: Anna Świć and Rafał Mitkowski. Course participants will also get access to a closed Facebook group "Participants of Ania and Rafał's online courses", created especially for them, where they will be in constant contact with the course leaders.
Certified online course - Using Genibot robots in preschool and early school education
A certified online course for teachers, lasting 8 hours. It is designed for educators and anyone who wants to use Genibot robots in work with children at preschool and early school age. Professional trainers using videos, presentations and descriptions show how to use and exploit the Genibot robots in the classroom. Genibot robot is an ideal tool for learning coding.
