IO extension ofWisBlock series, manufactured by Rak Wireless. Extends the WisBlock system withanalog input ports, allows you to connect any sensor using an analog interface with a voltage rangefrom 0 V to 5 V. The terminal can support cable widthsfrom 20 AWG to 24 AWG. RAK5811 is ideal for battery powered applications due to its low power consumption. The extension needs a connection to theWisBlock Base BoardandWisBlock Coredevelopment modules to work properly.
WisBlockseries modules produced byRak Wireless. They allow to makeextended IoT projects, which can be used in advanced scenarios and in basic projects. WisBlock system includes: WisBlockBase Board, WisBlockCoredeveloper module, WisBlockSensorsand WisBlockIO expansionmodules. They are used for rapid deployment of engineering prototypes, and are also designed for development of massive applications ready for industrial deployment.
WisBlock IO Extensions
WisBlockIOmodules allow to extend projects and scenarios with additional interfaces, sensors and communication extensions. They also enable connection of modules from outside the WisBlock series. These include keypads, buttons and displays, third party sensors (e.g. Seeed Grove, SparkFun Qwiic), communication modules with LTE NB-IoT, WiFi, Bluetooth and NFC or alternative PoE power supplies. They are mounted according to the schematic shown in the photo opposite. Before commissioning, make sure that the module is properly attached. For proper operation they require connection withWisBlock Coredevelopment module andWisBlock Base Board.
