The electromagnet can be used as an actuator of any microcontroller, including: Arduino . However, it should be taken into account that due to the relatively high power consumed by the magnet, it should not be connected directly to the microcontroller pins. In such a connection, it is necessary to use one of the following electronic elements: relay , optocoupler or transistor amplifier .
