Product Description: Holding electromagnet 12V 15W 240kgf
Holding electromagnet with a maximum load capacity of 240 kg (at standard gravitational acceleration of 9.8 m/s 2 ). Powered by 12 V. Current consumption is approximately 1.25 A. Rated power is 15 W. The product has an M10 threaded mounting hole, the set also includes an appropriate screw and washer. The device has dimensions: 100 x 40 mm. The length of the cables is approximately 30 cm. An electromagnet is very often used as an actuator controlled by a microcontroller, such as the very popular Arduino . However, remember not to connect the magnet directly to the controller pins. In such a situation, the following electronic components should be used: a relay , an opto-isolator or a transistor amplifier .
