Google Coral - exceptional equipment for exceptional tasks
Google Coral is the equipment designed primarily for developers. The devices come from one of the most recognizable brands in the world - Google. The giant's logo in electronics can usually be associated with phones or computers called Pixel. The described equipment is a device that creates for the user an environment in which it is possible to learn machine algorithms. Our offer includes Google Coral Dev Board and Google (a technologically advanced single disc computer) and Coral USB Accelerator (a device thanks to which an ordinary computer gains completely new possibilities).
Google Coral Dev Board
The Coral Dev Board is a small, single disc computer from Google. Seemingly little different from the popular Raspberry Pi or Arduino minicomputers, but in reality the equipment is much more task-oriented. It is a product intended primarily for developers who intend to use the advanced capabilities of machine learning algorithms. The computer is equipped with Debian Mendel Linux and a number of Tensor Flow Lite libraries. You will find there a number of ready to compile models. It is equipped with modern wired and wireless communication systems, but an internet connection is not necessary to work properly. All processes take place locally on the device.
Google Coral Dev Board - equipment
The equipment is perfectly protected against overheating by using a large heat sink with a built-in fan. Despite being addressed to a specific group of customers, the device is perfectly equipped with equipment, thanks to which its application is very universal. Dev Board has all the tools you need to easily perform prototyping processes - there is a DSI connector for displays, CSI-2 socket (so you can connect the camera), Gigabit Ethernet port, USB 2.0, USB 3.0 and GPIO connectors (40 pins). The "heart" of the device is the NXP iMX 8M processor (Quad-Core ARM Cortex A53 + ARM Cortex M4F), has 1 GB of RAM (LPDDR4), 8 GB of built-in eMMC and Wi-Fi interfaces (802.11 b/g/n/ac 2.4 GHz/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, microSD card slot, HDMI, mini jack output, microphone port and speaker output (4-pin 2.54 mm terminal). The most important element, however, is the so-called TPU Edge coprocessor, or tenor chip, which is used together with the Tensor Flow library for machine learning. The device has small dimensions (motherboard dimensions are 88 x 60 x 24 mm) and very low power consumption.
Google Coral USB Accelerator
Google Coral USB Accelerator is a small device that can work when connected via USB to a computer running Linux, Windows or MacOS operating systems. It is worth noting that the hardware works perfectly with devices that base their work on Linux, such as Raspberry Pi. After connecting the Coral USB Accelerator the computer gains access to the unique Edge coprocessor (designed for machine learning applications). It can be said that it is a device which, in combination with, for example, Raspberry Pi, can be a cheaper equivalent of the original Google Dev Board.
