Product description: Black matt poured plexiglass - 3 mm - 200 x 200 mm - 5 pcs.
Cast plexiglass , made of 3 mm thick PMMA . PMMA material is a thermoplastic material that, when heated to the appropriate temperature, behaves like a viscous liquid. Due to its aesthetics and scratch resistance, it can be a substitute for glass. Plexiglass sheets are easy to process mechanically and thermally, thanks to which the material can be cut and engraved using a CNC milling machine or laser. It will also work great in bending and thermoforming processes. The sheets are resistant to UV radiation . The set consists of 5 cast plexiglass sheets in matt black, opaque, dimensions 200 x 200 mm.
The set contains 5 pieces of plexiglass plates measuring 200 x 200 mm.
Each panel is covered with a thin protective foil , which must be removed before any processing or assembly.
Main features of plexiglass sheets
- Excellent resistance to UV radiation and changing weather conditions
- The material is suitable for cutting or engraving using a CNC milling machine or laser, as well as for bending and thermoforming processes.
- Ease of mechanical and thermal processing
- Resistance to mechanical damage
- Resistance to high temperatures
- Matte, opaque black surface
Examples of use of plexiglass sheets
Plexiglass sheets can be engraved with Snapmaker 3D printers with a laser module. Engraving on the sheet is easy, thanks to its suitably smooth surface. Ready patterns can be used in various industries, advertising, for the production of souvenirs or gadgets. Cast plexiglass has better mechanical properties than extruded plexiglass, because it has higher resistance to scratches, cleaning with chemicals and increased durability.
