Every electronic and mechanical workshop will need a set of appropriately selected chemical preparations - lubricants and cleaners. The specific choice depends, of course, on the type of work performed by the electronics engineer, mechanic or service technician. Lubricants for machines and mechanical systems
The primary function of lubricants is, of course, to reduce friction between elements of mechanical systems, and thus to aprevent them from wearing out. However, in our offer you will find products that, in addition to this basic function, also provide additional protection, e.g. against the harmful effects of rain or snow. The basic variant is tarnish, petroleum jelly or oil for lubricating machines - thanks to the packaging in the form of an oiling cup you can precisely apply it to a specific place in the mechanism. You can also use the legendary WD-40 spray which not only lubricates but also cleans mechanical parts and removes rust from them. However, for systems operating in more difficult conditions we recommend graphite grease (increasing the resistance to loads) and ceramic grease (resistant to water and chemicals). And you can even use Nanoprotech penetrating grease to defrost car door locks.
Cleaners for electronics
One of the basic chemical preparations in the electronics workshop is PCB remover. It removes flux residues and dirt after soldering components. Also available in our offer will be very useful sprays from Kontakt series - especially Kontakt S designed to remove oxides and sulphides from contacts and also to protect against corrosion. It is also available in a version with a brush. Kontakt U is a cleaner and degreaser for both contacts and electrical components. Kontakt PR is a cleaner for potentiometers. The Nanoprotech electrical insulation supplied in liquid form is also worth mentioning. It enables not only protection, but also regeneration of elements.
Cleaners for optical elements
Cleaning glass is a delicate task - some optical components are very easy to damage or scratch. At the same time, optics require careful maintenance, as even the smallest particles of dust and dirt significantly impair the quality of use of a given component. For maintenance of glass elements we recommend cleaning agents from the Kontakt IPA series. Thanks to isopropyl alcohol they evaporate very quickly from the cleaned surface, do not require drying and do not leave streaks. To remove dirt from LCD and TFT monitors we have set Esperanza ES112 with gel, brush and cloth.
