Kitronik ACCESS:bit is an extension for the BBC micro:bit that allows you to create a model of an entrance barrier with sound and mechanical elements. The set includes a rotating barrier arm, a servo and a buzzer , and the whole thing is powered by 3 AAA batteries placed in an integrated holder. The module can be mounted to the micro:bit using the included screws or using crocodile clips , thanks to which it maintains versatility in terms of assembly. The integrated power supply system supplies a stable 3 V voltage to the micro:bit, allowing direct control of the barrier and the sounder. All functions can be easily operated using dedicated blocks in the MakeCode environment . ACCESS:bit is a great educational tool, thanks to which students can learn the basics of automation, programming and the operation of simple mechanisms.
