Product description: IMX219 Visible Light Fixed Focus camera for Raspberry Pi - ArduCam B0390
Camera created by ArduCam as dedicated to minicomputers from the Raspberry Pi series, equipped with a CSI connector. The module is based on the Sony IMX219 sensor, which provides HD 8 MPx resolution with a lens without the possibility of focusing (fixed focal length), its focal length is 3.04 mm , aperture 2.0, and the viewing angle is 62.2 ° . Compared to the official Raspberry Pi V1 camera, not only the resolution has been increased, but also the image quality, color reproduction and low-light performance have been improved. The camera works with the Raspberry Pi OS version Bullseye.
What camera for the Raspberry Pi?
Standard Raspberry Pi minicomputers, version 3B / 3B + / 4B / Zero, are equipped with a CSI connector, so you should look for cameras with the same connector and with information about compatibility with Raspberry Pi 3B / 3B + / 4B, because some cameras, despite the CSI connector, can work together only with CM (Compute Module) or Nvidia version. Cameras can be used for image processing, 3D printing control, monitoring, object recognition and other applications that use artificial intelligence.
