The double-sided PEI build plate is designed specifically for the Snapmaker Artisan printer, offering a textured surface on one side and a smooth surface on the other , providing flexibility for 3D printing. The PEI surface ensures excellent first-layer adhesion , reduces warping, and improves print quality. Once the print is complete and the build plate cools, simply bend it slightly to release the model. The product is sold without a magnetic sticker , making it an ideal choice for users who already own a compatible magnetic base.

The models peel off automatically at room temperature, and larger prints can be easily removed by bending the sheet.

Advantages of double-sided PEI board
The smooth PEI side is ideal for prints requiring high precision and a smooth surface, such as small-scale visual or mechanical components. The textured side, on the other hand, provides excellent adhesion for larger, functional models. The PEI steel plate not only simplifies work but also reduces the risk of damaging models or the build surface . It's recommended to avoid using highly adhesive filaments (PETG, TPU) on the smooth side and to cool the platform before removing the print.
Textured PEI supports heat up to 110°C, and smooth PEI up to 80°C.
