Description
The board with the BLE Bluetooth module and the USB A plug controlled by the FTDI system. The device can be connected directly to the USB slot of the computer. In the operating system, it appears as a virtual serial COM port.
Why Bluefruit LE Friend?
Bluetooth 4.0 as a traditional USB adapter is not supported by Windows 7 operating system. In addition, the product from Adafruit gives direct access to data via COM port, without using additional apps.
