JetRacer Professional Version ROS AI Kit is an advanced robot based on the Nvidia Jetson Nano Dev Kit platform, designed for learning autonomous control systems, developing AI algorithms and using ROS (Robot Operating System). LiDAR RPLIDAR A1 and IMX219 camera with a resolution of 8 MPx enable scanning of the environment and recognition of objects . Autonomous Navigation and SLAM
JetRacer ROS AI Kit enables the robot to move autonomously using SLAM mapping. Thanks to the RPLIDAR A1 lidar and IMU sensors , the robot creates 360° maps of its surroundings , and advanced SLAM algorithms allow accurate path planning and real-time obstacle avoidance . It can navigate in dynamically changing conditions, making it ideal for autonomous driving experiments.
AI and computer vision
The kit is equipped with an IMX219 camera with a resolution of 8 MPx , enabling object recognition, line tracking , and face and color detection . JetRacer also supports popular libraries such as OpenCV , which allow the implementation of computer vision algorithms for object recognition and tracking and motion detection. It also has the ability of deep learning , thanks to the use of neural networks and the use of the open source DonkeyCar package.
The robot uses a dual-core Raspberry Pi RP2040 microcontroller, which is responsible for collecting position data and controlling movement.
Supports single-point navigation, multi-point patrol navigation and mapping while navigation.
Voice Interaction and Speech Recognition
Integrated microphones and a speaker enable voice interaction with the robot. JetRacer supports speech recognition, speech synthesis and sound detection , which allows you to create a robot capable of conducting conversations and responding to voice commands. Nvidia Jetson Nano Dev Kit
Nvidia Jetson Nano Dev Kit is a base board with an Nvidia Jetson Nano module, equipped with a quad-core ARM Cortex A57 processor with a frequency of 1.43 GHz and an Nvidia Maxwell graphics system with 128 CUDA cores. In the standard version, Jetson Nano has 4 GB of DDR4 RAM, while the Dev Kit version offers an additional 16 GB of eMMC memory . The board has a Gigabit Ethernet port, 4 USB 3.0 ports, HDMI, DisplayPort, GPIO, I2C, I2S, SPI, UART connectors, 2 camera connectors and a microSD card slot. The set also includes a 64 GB microSD card.
Built-in battery protection circuit prevents overcharging, over-discharging, overload, short circuit and reverse charging.
The robot is powered by three 18650 batteries, which must be purchased separately.
