Product description: Battery-powered carbon monoxide detector - Zamel CTW-06
The Zamel CTW-06 carbon monoxide detector is a practical solution that increases household safety from the effects of carbon monoxide poisoning. The device utilizes an electrochemical sensor with a 10-year lifespan and is powered by a built-in, non-replaceable 3V lithium battery , eliminating the need for periodic battery replacement throughout its lifespan. When a dangerous concentration of carbon monoxide is detected, the detector triggers an audible alarm at approximately 90 dB and a visual alarm . The built-in LCD display shows the current carbon monoxide concentration, battery status, diagnostic messages, and temperature , making it easier to assess the situation. A self-diagnostic system monitors the sensor's operation and notifies of damage or end-of-life warnings.

Detects dangerous concentrations of carbon monoxide in the air and activates a loud 90 dB alarm and visual indication.
Main features of the Zamel CTW-06 sensor
- Built-in 3V lithium battery : non-replaceable battery with a lifespan of about 10 years
- Electrochemical carbon monoxide sensor : increased sensor life of 10 years
- LCD display : presentation of carbon monoxide concentration, temperature and information messages
- Optical and acoustic signaling : LED diodes and an audible alarm with a level of approximately 90 dB
- Self-diagnostic system : sensor damage, end of sensor life and battery discharge indication
- Activation levels in accordance with PN-EN50291-1:2018 : response to concentrations of 30 ppm, 100 ppm and 300 ppm at specified time intervals
- Thermometer function : displaying the current ambient temperature
- Freestanding or wall-mounted : can be placed on a flat surface or attached to a wall
- Portable design : battery operation allows for easy relocation
How the CTW-06 Carbon Monoxide Sensor Works
The Zamel CTW-06 carbon monoxide detector uses an electrochemical sensor that responds to the presence of carbon monoxide in the air . When carbon monoxide concentration reaches a dangerous level, the device triggers an audible alarm and a flashing visual indicator . Activation levels comply with the PN-EN50291-1:2018 standard, which means a response at concentrations of 30 ppm for more than 120 minutes, 100 ppm for 10 to 40 minutes, and 300 ppm for up to 3 minutes . In normal operation, the LCD display shows battery charge status, alternating carbon monoxide concentration, and temperature. Self-diagnostics monitors the sensor's condition and the device's wear and tear , signaling errors, low battery, and end of life.
Practical applications
The Zamel CTW-06 carbon monoxide detector is designed for use in rooms where appliances burning fuels such as gas, wood, coal, or heating oil may be used. It is suitable for apartments, single-family homes, boiler rooms, rooms with gas heaters, fireplaces, water heaters, and fuel stoves . Powered by a built-in battery and capable of wall or free-standing mounting, the detector can be easily adapted to the room's layout. Installing the detector in bedrooms, living rooms, and hallways significantly increases user safety by enabling early detection of dangerous carbon monoxide concentrations.
