Are you designing an electronic device? It will probably be powered by batteries or accumulators, which must be placed in the right place for the whole device to work. There are special containers for this purpose, also known as holders. They consist of several separate cells, depending on how many batteries you want to power the device. The battery holders also have cable leads or designated areas for independent connection of cables. Battery holders are designed for specific battery types. They differ in size, as do the power supply elements. They are made of materials adapted to specific conditions in which they will work. The holders differ not only in size and number of cells, but also in color and sometimes in shape. Thus, they can be visually adjusted to the appearance of the device. In our offer you can also find battery storage containers, as well as battery stands.

The battery basket allows you to conveniently collect electricity from the cells and supply it to various parts of the device. It also prevents the battery from moving inside the case. Protective containers are used primarily when transporting batteries and accumulators - they are made of durable insulating material that protects against short circuits and mechanical damage.
How to choose the right basket model?
The most important selection criterion is the type of battery or accumulator that will power the device. Most often, these are AA batteries (R6, standard sticks) or AAA batteries (R3, small sticks), but on our website you will also find baskets for D-type batteries (R20) and a nine-volt 6F22 battery, as well as stands for flat CR2032 batteries. Battery baskets are available with or without a cover, as well as models equipped with a switch. They hold from one to six cells. We offer battery baskets equipped with ready-made power cable terminals, models with the option of soldering the desired connector yourself, and models for SMD surface mounting. If the device is to be used by other users, it is worth choosing models with the battery position marked (plus/minus) - this will prevent the cells from being placed in the basket incorrectly.
Battery cases
In this section we also offer containers for transporting batteries and accumulators. They prevent damage to cells during transportation and also protect against accidental short circuits. Containers for AA , AAA and 18650 batteries are available.
Battery baskets and battery containers - Botland - Shop for robotics
In this section we offer battery baskets made of light and durable material. Battery containers facilitate organization and protect them against external factors. We offer transparent and opaque housings. Selected battery baskets are equipped with cables terminated with a JST-PH 2.54 mm plug, a 5.5/2.1 mm DC connector or popular crocodile clips. This solution allows direct power supply to devices with compatible sockets.
Our offer includes a wide selection of baskets for secondary cells, varying in capacity and physical size. The use of baskets includes not only mounting, e.g. to a housing, but also storing batteries and accumulators. It is worth emphasizing that used batteries cannot be disposed of in municipal waste containers. Electronics stores (and others) have special containers for used batteries, where you can throw cells at no additional charge. The waste battery container is specially marked, which in practice makes it easier to recognize.
Battery baskets - FAQ
In the construction of the battery basket, the most important thing is to maintain appropriate dimensions, allowing for convenient battery replacement while maintaining certain contact between the cell contacts and the basket plates. You can use a 3D printer to create a basket body with ideal dimensions, but a much simpler solution will be to use one of the ready-made baskets available in our offer.
