What is Feather ESP32-S3

Feather ESP32-S3 belongs to the family of small modules. It was equipped with an Espressif microcontroller, which supports WiFi and Bluetooth communication with low energy consumption . Its compact dimensions mean that it can be successfully used in projects in the field of, among others. IoT and home automation. Feather ESP32-S3 is based on a dual -core Tensilica 240 MHz processor . It has 4 MB of Flash and 2 MB of PSRAM. It supports i.a. Time of flight (ToF) measurement. The product is equipped with native USB.

  • Native USB C port : used for powering and programming the board. It allows you to charge a Li-Pol battery plugged into the JST connector.
  • JST 2-PH connector connected with the Li-Pol battery charger system: Li-Pol 3.7 / 4.2 V with a capacity of 250 mAh or more can be connected to it.
  • CHG LED: The LED lights while the battery is charging. When charging is complete, the LED turns off. If the packet is not connected, the LED may flash quickly.
  • GND: common ground for all power and logic circuits.
  • BAT: positive voltage from / to 2-pin JST socket for optional Li-Pol battery.
