Product description: Devil Design ASA 1.75 mm 0.8 kg - Bright Orange
ASA filament is a thermoplastic filament used for FFF 3D printing . It is designed for building functional prototypes and finished products that are expected to be weather-resistant and durable . The filament does not discolor when exposed to UV radiation.

Our range of filaments also includes other materials and colors.
Filament wound on a spool, vacuum-packed with a moisture absorber. The spool contains 0.8 kg of material net . It can be used in all FFF printers not protected against the use of material from a third-party supplier or open-source design. ASA is a material with increased resistance (compared to ABS) to external factors and is easily machined , such as grinding or drilling. ASA is an excellent substitute for typical ABS copolymer.
ASA filament properties
- There is a smell of melting plastic while printing
- More durable than PLA
- Easy to sand, you can drill holes in it without any problems
- It is cheap and comes in many color variants.
- Increased resistance to UV radiation
- Increased resistance to weather conditions
- Good chemical and thermal resistance
Due to differences in printer design, the above data should be treated as guidelines and the appropriate values should be determined experimentally.

Devil Design ASA filament 1.75 mm 0.8 kg - Bright Orange
ASA filaments are distinguished by their exceptionally wide range of applications, primarily due to their properties. Printed models are characterized by high precision and a subtle sheen. All of this makes this heat-shrinkable material ideal for creating various decorative elements.
ASA filaments produced by Devil Design also have other applications. They are often used for printing housings and accessories. They are also suitable for prototyping. This thermoplastic material is a great choice for beginners and experienced 3D printing enthusiasts alike, as its use is relatively straightforward.
What else is worth knowing about Devil Design ASA filament?
The main parameters are as follows: ASA filaments have a center of gravity of 1.07 g/cm³ (ASTM D792 test method). The softening point, based on the ASTM D1525 method, is 96℃. The Rockwell R hardness reaches 107.
The material dissolves in acetone, and its maximum elongation at break does not exceed 20%. Its tensile strength is as much as 500 kg/cm² (measured using the ASTM D638 method). A significant advantage of ASA filament, especially for beginners, is the ease of detaching prints from the bed, which minimizes the risk of damage.
