SparkFun Thing Plus - RP2350 is a versatile development platform in the compact Thing Plus format. Equipped with the RP2350 microcontroller from Raspberry Pi , it supports both WiFi 4 (802.11n) and Bluetooth 5.2 . On board you will also find a Li-Pol charger, a charge indicator, a microSD card slot and a Qwiic connector , making it an ideal solution for IoT projects and remote applications. The module supports C/C++ (Pico SDK), MicroPython, CircuitPython and Arduino IDE environments.

Thing Plus - RP2350 includes a 2-pin JST connector and an integrated charging circuit for the Li-Pol battery.

The SparkFun Thing Plus - RP2350 board has 28 PTH pins , arranged according to the Thing Plus standard, which ensures easy integration with expansion boards and accessories. There are 13 universal GPIO pins (including 3 analog), UART, I2C and SPI interfaces, as well as a dedicated WS2812 output for controlling RGB LEDs . Additionally, you can use 24 PWM channels and 12 PIOs , enabling advanced control of external devices.

RP2350 microcontroller - the powerful heart of the board
The module is based on the RP2350 microcontroller , developed by the Raspberry Pi Foundation. This system integrates two ARM Cortex M33 cores and two RISC-V Hazard3 cores , of which you can choose two to work simultaneously. With 520 kB of SRAM divided into 10 banks, low latency and an advanced peripheral structure, the RP2350 provides enormous capabilities while maintaining low power consumption. With support for USB 1.1 (host / device) , advanced communication interfaces and expanded external memory, it is an ideal choice for demanding IoT and edge computing projects.
