Product description: Servo 2040 - 18-channel servo controller - Pimoroni PIM613
Servo 2040 is a servo driver manufactured by PiMoroni . It has 18-channels that allow you to control up to 18 servos simultaneously . What's more, it also supports servos operating in a higher voltage range (up to 11 V). Servo 2040 is equipped with 2 MB of QSPI Flash memory supporting XiP, USB type C connector for programming and power supply, 6 addressable RGB / Neopixel LEDs and as many as 6 additional 3-pin fields for connecting analog sensors.
Special features of the Servo 2040
- Based on the Raspberry Pi RP2040 system
- Equipped with 2 MB of QSPI Flash memory supporting XiP
- It has 3-pin outputs described from 1 to 18 for convenient connection of up to 18 different servos
- Supports higher voltage servos up to 11V - If you want to operate servos with a voltage higher than 5V you must cut the "Separate USB and Ext. Power" power jumper (located on the back of the board) to prevent damage to the RP2040 from excess voltage. If you cut the jumper you will have to provide separate power for the board logic (via USB or 5V)
- Equipped with 6 addressable RGB / Neopixel LEDs
- It has as many as 6 additional 3-pin fields for connecting analog sensors
- Reset button and BOOT button (BOOT button can also be used as user button)
- USB Type-C connector for programming and power (max. 3 A)
- Screw terminals for external power supply (reverse polarity protected) - maximum continuous current is 10 A
- Fully assembled and no soldering required
