The Tab5 module from M5Stack is a powerful platform for building IoT projects, designed with developers, engineers, and embedded developers in mind. At its heart is the ESP32-P4 – a dual-core RISC-V chip, supported by 32MB of PSRAM and 16MB of Flash memory . Wireless communication is provided by the ESP32-C6 with support for WiFi 6, Thread, and ZigBee, ensuring high throughput, low latency, and flexible deployments. The Tab5 is equipped with a 5-inch IPS display with HD resolution and a GT911 capacitive touchscreen for precise control. A 2MP camera with a MIPI-CSI interface enables real-time image processing. Additional features, such as RS-485, USB Type-C OTG, a USB Type-A port, a microSD slot, and expansion connectors (GROVE, M5BUS, GPIO_EXT) , enable extensive functionality expansion. The device can be powered externally via USB Type-C or an optional NP-F550 battery (not included).
