Product description: Hot-Swap I2C Buffer - I2C bus buffer module - TCA4307 - Adafruit 5159
Hot-Swap I2C Buffer manufactured by Adafruit is a module with I2C bus buffer based on TCA4307 chip. It allows connecting I2C devices with active power supply without fear of suspending or stopping transmission caused by additional SCL pulse or unexpected capacitive load. It can be used during prototyping of devices where frequent connecting and disconnecting of peripheral devices occurs. The module can handle I2C clock frequency up to 400 kHz. In addition, Hot-Swap I2C Buffer automatically disconnects the bus if it detects that SDAOUT or SCLOUT is in low state.
The manufacturer provides a detailed user guide that greatly simplifies the use of the module. Check it out!
