Product description: Resistive touch screen controller - TSC2046 - SPI - Adafruit 5767
The board is manufactured by Adafruit and equipped with a resistive touch screen controller system - TSC2046 . It has a 4-pin FPC connector with a pitch of 1 mm, intended for connecting a display, and standard connectors with a pitch of 2.54 mm, to which you can solder wires or the goldpin strip included in the set. The module uses the SPI interface and operates with a voltage of 3 V to 5 V DC.
The manufacturer has prepared a user guide that makes it much easier to start working with the module. You will also find sample program code there. Check!
Module pins
The module has pins in the form of solder pads to which you need to solder the goldpin pins included in the kit - 2.54 mm pitch. Then it is necessary to connect according to the dependencies below:
- VIN - power supply pin from 3 V to 5 V,
- GND - system ground,
- FPC connector - 4-pin socket with a pitch of 1 mm for connecting the screen via a cable,
- Y-, X-. Y+, X+ - X/Y connectors available on a 2.54 mm connector, used to connect the screen in the absence of an FPC cable with a 1 mm pitch,
- MOSI - Master Out Slave In - SPI bus pin,
- MISO - Master In Slave Out - SPI bus pin,
- SCK - clock pin,
- CS - Chip Select.
