Perfect filament for basic applications
The Print-Me EcoLine PLA filament with a diameter of 1.75 mm and a weight of 1 kg in grey provides excellent technical parameters. It is characterized by almost zero thermal shrinkage, low diameter tolerance (only +/- 0.05 mm), resistance to temperatures up to 80ºC and good mechanical strength (Shore hardness 81D, Young's modulus 1471 MPa).
PLA is a material that works great in 3D printing, especially for amateurs - it is non-toxic, almost odorless and safe to use in the presence of other household members, including children. These features mean that PLA filament is also used in popular 3D pens.
Printing parameters
Print-Me EcoLine PLA filament can be used with virtually any FDM 3D printer with an extruder and nozzle adapted to a wire diameter of 1.75 mm.
The manufacturer recommends printing at head and work table temperatures of 192ºC to 208ºC and 20ºC to 60ºC, respectively. Print cooling should be performed at a fan speed of 40% to 100% (the value should be selected based on previous experience or experimentally for a given print). The recommended printing speed is 30 mm/s to 60 mm/s.
