Darwin Mini RobotisHumanoide Robotis self-assembly kit. The robot's brain is based on an OpenCM9.04Cmicrocontroller boardwithan ARM Cortex-M332-bitcore.Programming is done viaUSBvia theOpenCM Robotissoftware. TheXL-320servos allow movement, as well as access totemperature, position and torqueinformation, andthe Bluetoothmoduleis controlled by the application. A configurable casing is also included and can be customized to suit your needs.
Thanks to the software provided by the manufacturer, the robot can be taught multiple positions or a wide range of built-in movements. Advanced movements, such as standing on your head, rotating and lifting yourself, are no problem for you. The Darwin Mini can also be controlled via a dedicated mobile application.
Application for the Darwin Mini
The Darwin robot uses buttons, gestures, speech recognition and Messenger type programs to control or change the robot's movement.
A system requirement:
- Operating system: Android 2.3.3 or higher / iOS 6 or higher)
- Processor: 1.2 GHz Dual Core or better
- 1GB of RAM
When you have finished assembling the robot, connect it to your mobile device via Bluetooth. All programs have to be ripped on the robot.
