Robotis is a Korean company founded in 1999 that manufactures robots and actuators for robots used for scientific and teaching purposes. In 2016, a Robotis subsidiary was established in Tokyo. The company has won the President's Award in Robotics Technology from the Korean Ministry of Knowledge Economy in 2012, and has obtained ISO9001:2008 and ISO14001:2004 quality certifications.
