The Gateway H2 module uses M-Bus and can be used with M5Stack controllers (e.g., CoreS3 , Core2 , Fire v2.7 ). A DIP switch allows you to change pin functions, for example, between UART and SPI. The module shares pins with Bluetooth and WiFi functions. Connectors include RXD, TXD, SPI_MOSI, SPI_MISO, SPI_CLK, SPI_CS, and SDA/SCL. are available on a 30-pin connector, which facilitates integration in applications requiring low-power wireless communication and signal sharing with the host.

Programming and integration
The module can be programmed using the Arduino IDE, ESP-IDF, and UIFlow 2.0 environments. With official libraries and documentation from Espressif, it's easy to create endpoints that support Matter over Thread, ZigBee gateway, and Thread Border Router . Software can be uploaded via the classic UART interface (via the ESP32 Downloader). The manufacturer also provides an SDK for the ESP-IDF platform and step-by-step guides for all supported protocols.
