The HM0360 camera manufactured by ArduCam is a budget and low cost version of the camera built specifically for the Raspberry Pi Pico and all available development boards with the RP2040 microcontroller. The HM0360 camera uses Himax Imaging's advanced 3.6 µ LED to achieve excellent performance and image sharpness even in low light. Moreover, it consumes only 140 µA in QVGA 2 fps and about 7 mA in VGA 60 fps readout mode. The module also has a built-in oscillator and RTC to reduce the latency of transmitted images. It has a sensor that provides several monitoring options with a programmable interrupt so that the host processor can be put into a low power standby state until the sensor is notified of movement.
