DAC2 Unit is a digital-to-analog signal converter based on GP8413 , which offers exceptional precision and accuracy. The device converts a 15-bit digital value into two independent analog voltages ranging from 0 V to 5 V or from 0 V to 10 V. With a low voltage error of only 0.2% and linearity of up to 0.01%, DAC2 Unit provides high quality output signals. The module supports I2C communication with the default address 0x59 and allows parallel connection of up to 8 devices thanks to 3-bit hardware addressing. Additionally, the converter is equipped with a short-circuit protection function, which automatically deactivates the outputs in the event of a short circuit between the output pins and ground, thus preventing damage. DAC2 Unit finds application in many fields and is compatible with a series of development modules from M5Stack .
