DAC2 Unit is a digital-to-analog signal converter based on GP8413 , which offers exceptional precision and accuracy. The device converts a 15-bit digital value into two independent analog voltages ranging from 0 V to 5 V or from 0 V to 10 V. With a low voltage error of only 0.2% and linearity of up to 0.01%, DAC2 Unit provides high quality output signals. The module supports I2C communication with the default address 0x59 and allows parallel connection of up to 8 devices thanks to 3-bit hardware addressing. Additionally, the converter is equipped with a short-circuit protection function, which automatically deactivates the outputs in the event of a short circuit between the output pins and ground, thus preventing damage. DAC2 Unit finds application in many fields and is compatible with a series of development modules from M5Stack .

- I2C communication : allows you to easily connect and control the converter using standard I2C communication. The default address is 0x59, with the possibility of changing it thanks to 3-bit hardware addressing.
- High Precision : offers 15-bit resolution, which ensures highly accurate conversion of digital signals to analog, with a minimum voltage error of less than 0.2% and a linearity of 0.01%.
- Adjustable Output Voltage : can generate two independent voltages ranging from 0V to 5V and 0V to 10V, which increases flexibility in various applications requiring precise voltage adjustment.
- Short Circuit Protection : Built-in automatic short circuit protection function. In the event of a short circuit between the output pins and ground, the converter enters protection mode, interrupting the output to prevent damage to the device.
- Scalability : Supports up to 8 devices operating in parallel with 3-bit hardware addressing, making it easy to expand systems and integrate into larger projects.
