The Unit Step16 is a compact control module equipped with a 16-position BCD rotary encoder, designed for precise parameter adjustment and clear real-time value presentation . Based on the STM32G031G8U6 microcontroller, the unit allows for encoder position reading as a hexadecimal value from 0 to F , displayed directly on the integrated 7-segment display . The module communicates via an I2C interface , offering configurable addresses, allowing for simultaneous use of multiple Step16 modules on a single bus. Users can adjust the rotation counting direction, operating mode, and display brightness, as well as the color and brightness of the built-in RGB LED . This allows the Unit Step16 to provide not only precise control but also immediate, clear feedback.
