Description
The module allows you to exchange data between systems that use voltage levels ranging from 3.3 V to 5.5 V. Operates in both directions simultaneously, for example, reduces the voltage of 5 V to 3.3 V and raises 3.3 V to 5 V at the same time. This feature is useful in bidirectional communication protocols, for example, the SPI in full duplex mode. The converter has 8 channels.
Outputs aregoldpin connectors(2.54 mm pitch). Thanks to them, it is possible to connect the system with thebreakout boardor the main module (for example,STM32DiscoveryorArduino) with wires.
Connection example
In the case of conversion between 3.3 V and 5 V, you must:.
- Pin VCCA/VA connect to power supply 3.3 V
- Pin VCCB/VB to connect to power supply 5 V
- GND connect to ground. Please note that the ground of the entire system was connected.
- When the Ax will signal with a voltage of 3.3 V, it will appear on the Bx signal 5 in
- When the Ax will signal with a voltage of 5 Volts, it will appear on the Bx signal 3.3 V
- There is no need to control the direction
