Product description: MQTT PoE - MQTT Ethernet communication module with PoE port - W5500 - Unit extension module for M5Stack development modules
Another Unit type extension designed for M5Stack development modules. MQTT PoE is an Ethernet MQTT communication module, additionally equipped with port enabling power supply via PoE (with 1.2 A load capability at 5 V / 6 W). Based on Ethernet W5500 chip. It uses UART protocol to communicate with connected modules, and can be programmed via AT command lines. The module is also equipped with an integrated RJ45 10 / 100 Mbps network port. It supports subscription of four topics (topic) and is used in widely understood industrial automation, security monitoring systems or automatic measuring systems.

What is MQTT?
MQTT - MQ Telemetry Transport. It defines an extremely simple data transmission protocol. It is currently the easiest and most popular way to send data to the cloud. Data published using the MQTT protocol is in text form. This means that you can convert the data structure to JSON format (or any other arbitrary text format) and then publish it without much trouble. The MQTT protocol is dedicated to transmission for devices that do not require high bandwidth. By limiting the transmission rate, the protocol provides greater reliability.
In the user's guide prepared by the manufacturer you can find sample program codes and a set of AT commands. Check it out!
