Fuses in our offer
We offer a wide selection of high-quality fuses that you can use in your projects with success and peace of mind. A current fuse is a type of electronic component whose task is to interrupt the circuit when a certain current value (or, for example, ambient temperature) is exceeded.
Types of electrical fuses
A polymer fuse is an electronic element that is used to protect the system against excessive current flow (increase in current). When the critical value is exceeded, the element heats up very much, thus opening the circuit.
After cooling down and eliminating the source of too high current, the fuse can be used again (often it can survive up to about 100 such cycles). Please note that the open circuit of a circuit is never 100%, so a small current will still flow through it after the limit value is exceeded.
Too high a voltage can cause overheating or even breakdown and ultimately damage the circuit components. We have electrical fuses that can be successfully used when connecting your system to a 9 V battery, a 12 V battery or any other source not exceeding 72 V (rated voltage). We offer versions with a current carrying capacity of 0.2 A, 0.5 A, 1.1 A, 3 A, 5 A.
Car fuse
A car fuse is actually a fuse. It is an electronic component that contains an element - a fuse, which is made of an electrical conductor and works in a similar way to a resistor. As a result of the flow of current, the element heats up, and when the current exceeds a certain value, the fuse melts, as a result of which the circuit is opened.
We offer various sets of automotive fuses designed for amperage from 3 A to 30 A (rated current). Our assortment also includes a wide selection of WTA fuses (Fuse Link Apparatus) in versions from 0.1 A to 10 A.
Thermal fuse
A thermal fuse is an electronic element with very low resistance that is designed to disconnect a circuit due to an excessive increase in ambient temperature. Our offer includes fuses operating at 230 V at temperatures of 96° C (10 A), 115° C (1A and 2 A) and 135° C (2 A).
Our offer also includes connectors and fuse sockets as well as thermal bimetallic overcurrent fuses with a rated voltage of 125/250 V AC or 32 V DC - with current carrying capacity (current flow) of 8 A, 16A and 20 A. Intended for, among others: to protect the electrical installation.
