Product description: Serial MP3 Player Shield - MY1690X - Shield for Arduino - SparkFun DEV-28021
The Serial MP3 Player Shield with the MY1690X chip is a practical extension for Arduino boards that allows you to add audio playback from a microSD card without additional components. The player supports MP3 and WAV files from cards up to 32 GB formatted in FAT16 or FAT32 . Control is via the UART interface, and the sound is output to a standard 3.5 mm TRRS connector - just plug in your headphones. The USB Type-C connector allows you to mount the memory as a removable drive on your computer, making it easy to copy files. Additional elements such as the reset button, power and playback LEDs , and the Qwiic connector increase functionality and convenience of use. An amplifier for larger speakers can be connected to the audio output.
