I/O pins and connectors
The module has eight sets of 1-Wire pins (0-7), each in the form of a 3-pin connector : signal (1W), ground (-), and power (+). These connectors allow for the connection of up to eight independent DS18B20 sensors. The reverse side of the board features address jumpers A0, A1, and A2 for changing the I2C address (default 0x18) , allowing for connecting multiple modules on a single bus. STEMMA QT / Qwiic connectors on the sides facilitate integration with other system components without the need for soldering .
Programming and operation
The DS2482S-800 converter is supported by ready-made libraries for Arduino (Adafruit_DS248x) and CircuitPython / Python (Adafruit_CircuitPython_DS248x). Sample scripts allow you to read data from multiple channels and precisely assign values to individual sensors . Integration with a Raspberry Pi or computer is achieved via the I2C bus and the Blink library.
