Product description: W5100S-EVB-PICO - board with RP2040 microcontroller and Ethernet - WIZnet
The WIZnet company board is equipped with a Raspberry Pi RP2040 microcontroller and an Ethernet TCP/IP W5100S system . W5100S-EVB-PICO supports wired Internet protocols such as TCP, UDP, WOL over UDP, ICMP, IGMPv1/v2, IPv4, ARP, PPPoE and up to 4 independent hardware sockets simultaneously . The RP2040 microcontroller has two ARM Cortex M0+ cores, operates at a frequency of up to 133 MHz, has 264 kB RAM (no EEPROM), 2 MB Flash memory and an external Quad-SPI flash memory with eXecute In Place (XIP). It has 30 multifunctional general purpose IOs (4 can be used as ADC).
W5100S-EVB-PICO - board with RP2040 microcontroller and Ethernet - WIZnet.
The W5100S-EVB-PICO by WIZnet is based on the microcontroller of the Raspberry Pi Foundation - RP2040.
Special features of the plate
- Equipped with a Raspberry Pi RP2040 microcontroller and an Ethernet W5100S system
- Includes built-in 12-bit 500 fs/s analog-to-digital converter (ADC)
- Offers a wide range of interfaces - 2x UART, 2x I2C, 2x SPI, 16x PWM channels
- Ability to emulate interfaces such as SD card and VGA
Module pins
The board uses the GPIO of the RP2040 microcontroller, which has the same pinout as the Raspberry Pi Pico board. The exceptions are the pins GPIO16, GPIO17, GPIO18, GPIO19, GPIO20, GPIO21 - in this case they are connected and reserved only for the W5100S system. These pins enable communication via the SPI interface with the W5100S when using the Ethernet connector. If you are using the Ethernet jack, these pins cannot be used for other purposes.
The manufacturer has also prepared a detailed user's guide , which contains a description of individual pins - check it out!
Description of the module pins. For more information on the individual pins, see the user's guide .
