WizFi360-EVB-Pico – ready IoT development platform
The creators of the popular "raspberry" made quite a stir on the embedded systems market by introducing their own processor design - RP2040 - and the miniature Raspberry Pi Pico board that uses it. The new platform has gained immense popularity in an incredibly short time and has seen many more or less successful "clones" and "variations on the original". One of the most interesting proposals currently available in our offer is the WizFi360-EVB-Pico board, based on a "raspberry" microcontroller, cooperating with the WiFi module developed by WIZnet engineers called WizFi360. This compact transceiver with a built-in microstrip antenna supports 802.11 b/g/n standards (communication in the 2.4 GHz band), can work in SoftAP, Station and SoftAP+Station modes, and what is very important for professional customers - it has full radio certification and EMC.
W5100S-EVB-PICO - evaluation module compatible with Raspberry Pi Pico
The W5100S-EVB-PICO module undoubtedly belongs to a small group of really well-developed products from this group. Although the proposal of the WIZnet brand is based on the aforementioned RP2040 and uses a pinout system compatible with the Raspberry Pi Pico, it offers something more - a built-in Ethernet interface, based on the SPI-Ethernet converter type W5100S, also from the WIZnet stable. The system has hardware support for the TCP/IP stack, supports MAC addresses, and has been equipped with a physical layer interface (PHY), thanks to which its implementation is very simple and convenient, regardless of the microcontroller used. The compact size of the whole and the use of dual-function pads for the GPIO line and power supply (soldering pads support SMT assembly and classic pin strips) make the module perfect for use in commercial projects. The manufacturer has also developed a twin board W5500-EVB-PICO, based on a slightly different PHY controller (W5500), as well as the WIZnet Ethernet HAT, designed to work with the original Raspberry Pi Pico.
