Product description: CAN Bus module - TJA1051T/3 - Adafruit 5708
The module is based on the TJA1051T/3 system, enabling the connection of the microcontroller with any extension that communicates via the CAN bus . The module is powered with the voltage of 3.3 V / 5 V , it also works with boards powered with the voltage of 12 V and 24 V. It is characterized by low electromagnetic emission (EME) and high electromagnetic immunity (EMI). It has also been equipped with a voltage converter that allows it to work with 3.3 V boards without the need for an additional power supply.

What is the CAN bus?
CAN stands for Controller Area Network and is a multi-master serial bus for bi-directional data transfer. It provides half-duplex communication with a transmission speed of up to 1 Mbit/s. Its reliability makes the CAN bus widely used in motor vehicles, agricultural equipment and broadly understood industrial automation.
